Absolutely fantastic. And, I would have never ordered from here because the place that Google maps recommended (Abdul’s), which was only 2 km away, doesn’t deliver this far (slackers) so I had to search for another place, and rolled the … More

We tried Al Aseel after hearing a lot of hype, but unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the price tag. Service timing was disappointing, the rice arrived right at the end, just before we finished our meal, so we didn’t even bother eating it as we were already full.
It’s a shame, as the restaurant has a strong reputation and we were hoping for a much better experience. Sadly, it wasn’t for us and we won’t be returning.

OMG amazing! The restaurant was beautiful and is clearly used to catering to large groups. Staff were unobtrusive but always actively attentive and responsive. The food was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Excellent. I came as part of a large family group, most had never tried Lebanese food before but absolutely loved it. Staff brought out the food in a timely manner, although my cousin was worried about not getting any meat as they start with the dips and bread. Once the meat came out he had a huge smile. Everyone said they're definitely going back with even more people next time.
Even my taxi driver was excited about taking me here. His exact words "my favourite restaurant" I'm based in QLD, please open some restaurants in QLD!
Im so sorry I didn't take photos of the food. We got the "Feast" so everyone could try a lot of different things. We also tried some cocktails and dessert, a cheesecake with baklava in it YUM and essentially ice cream coated on chocolate with lots of goodies mixed into the chocolate. So good!

We are from Melbourne and we’ve been seeing Al assell all over our TikTok’s so we thought we would check it out as we are Lebanese and we love our culture food.
I got to say food staff and service did not disappoint at all. The best Lebanese food we’ve ever had.
Our waiter was patient and kind , food came out 10-15 mins with everything being so fresh , warm and overall delicious.
Price is reasonable especially for the quality you are receiving.

We had an event for our son today and everything was absolutely perfect. Hadi and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was extra special, with delicious and overly generous food portions! The value for what we received was unbeatable and look forward to organising our next event with Al Aseel. More

We dined at Al Aseel tonight and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. The blonde waitress who was primarily looking after the semi-outdoor dining area appeared very unfriendly and visibly annoyed all night which impacted the service experience for us. When we were ready to pay, we stood at the counter for nearly 10 minutes waiting for assistance. Despite a line forming at the payment counter, several staff members walked past without acknowledging or helping customers. There was also a mistake with our order - We asked for the 'Trilogy' dip which is a combination of 3 dips, but were instead charged for three individual dips. We only realised this when checking the bill, which meant we were nearly overcharged by around $20. While the food was decent, it felt overpriced for what was served. Overall, the lack of attentive service detracted significantly from the experience.

From the moment we arrived we had a warm greeting and door opened for us, immediately got a table sorted and sat down with chairs pulled out for us too. Big menu with lots of choices at a very reasonable price, food came out quickly, staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. 110% will be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

We were greeted by a very rude hostess. She seemed visibly annoyed that we didn’t have a booking, even though the restaurant was literally empty. When we shared feedback, it wasn’t acknowledged at all; we were met with more attitude instead. If you don’t want to work in hospitality, nobody is forcing you.
The food itself is good, but not always what’s described on the menu. For example, the halloumi ($19) was meant to come with pistachio dukkah and thyme, neither were on the plate.
Overall, it’s a little overpriced for the experience - it's true what they say that service can make or break a restaurant. We won’t be back, there are plenty of other great lebanese in Sydney.
